If you skipped shopping till just a couple days before 25th of December because of work, priorities and family or you just didn’t know what to buy for your loved ones or co-workers; I have some good news:

I’ve done the hard thing for you and created a list of options which you can buy for your Web3&Crypto normie friend or family member you want to introduce the ecosystem.

Yeah, also you can do all your shopping in one stop from the comfort of your couch at any time- even minutes before 25th.

The list includes things both you’d want give to a normie and also to a web3 enthusiast.

NFT’s

Anything can be stored as a Non Fungible token but in our case I’m talking abou art NFT’s. I think gifting an NFT is amazing, especially this year where we’re having an INCREDIBLE NFT bull for artists and non-artists.
How would you gift one? If they have a wallet, you should get their wallet adress. If they don’t have a wallet and they’re the ultimate normie; you can create one for them and give the seed phrase along with the NFT.

Which NFT collection you should choose? I recommend not to go hard with a first-ever NFT because they would lose access to it or they might not go all nerd over it. So it should be something not over worthy for your budget. You can consider their interests and try to find something related to it on marketplaces like Opensea, Rarible, NiftyGateway etc. Think about their favorite movies, sports, foods, literally anything and just search the related word on marketplace. Check the most popular NFTs on OpenSea, ranked by volume, floor price and other statistics.

https://opensea.io/rankings

You have a wide range from ultra-expensive 50ETH floor CULT collections like Bored Ape Yacht Club or CryptoPunks, middle-expensive yet again CULT collections like Doodles, Clonex (now owned by Nike), Adidas Original (owned by Adidas and backed by Cult communities) or fairly cheaper hip collections which you should just dive a little with some keywords I talked about above.

The Goddess of Rarity 1/1 by Dave Pollot

Once again a wide range where you can choose between 10k piece collections to 1/1 to 100/100 limited collections. You can find limited numbered collections of artists like Refik Anadol, Murat Pak, Fewocious, Filip Hodas, Beeple on Nifty Gateway or Foundation. Check here for all the NFT marketplaces.

Also an amazing artist NessGraphic’s selection of NFTs

NFTs are not just on Ethereum but also on other chains like Avalanche, Tezos, Solana. For example objct.com -which is on Tezos chain- is a marketplace where you can find amazing underrated indie artist’s artworks.

objt.com

Print a copy to physically give them. You can also print showing the NFT with the basic instructions to access it. It makes a good connection between physical&digital.

ENS Domain

What is it tho? It’s your web3 username. It’s your metaverse name. Getting yourname.eth is like getting yourname.com in 90’s. Go here, check if your friend’s name is taken, if not, take it for them. I promise they’ll love you.

ENS Domain

y.at Domain

What’s it again? It’s a domain with emojis. It’s like younger stages of ENS Domain. You can curate a name as cheap as $4. Think of something your friend (or whoever you’re buying it for) likes, curate it with emojis and also you can then mint it as an NFT. Here is mine:

Tracking Tool Memberships

If your gift recipient is not a foreigner to web3 and actually an active user, then a crypto track tool membership would be the most useful gift however they’re not necessary for newcomers.
